2007 Maple Fest - Part 1

Part one: Setup! On the Friday night before MapleFest, Lion members and other volenteers meet at the Maple Hall to begin setup.The tables are arranged, the walls are decorated, the stoves are fired up, the fridges and freezers are stocked, and a few test pancakes and sausages are cooked to make sure we remember how to make them! -
2007 Maple Fest - Part 2

Part Two: MapleFest! Lions show up before 7 am for MapleFest to begin cooking. By 8 am, the doors are opened and customers (some of whom have been coming for generations) flood in to get their pancakes and sausages! Volenteers are kept busy the entire weekend with cooking pankcakes and sausages, manning the coffee and orange juice, and keeping the tables cleaned for the next batch of customers. -

Part Three: Cleanup! By Sunday at 3 pm its all over! The last customers head home and the Hall is cleaned. By 3:30, you'd never known how many hundreds of people had just been through our doors! -

Part Four: Celebration! The Sunday night after MapleFest is always celebrated with a steak dinner for all those who pitched in to make MapleFest a success for that year. Our volenteers finally get a chance to put their feet up and enjoy a great dinner together!
